WELCOME TO THE LONDON STREET BRASSERIE

The London Street Brasserie is the second award-winning restaurant by owner and proprietor Paul Clerehugh.
Opened in 2000 next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim and Michelin recognition and has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars and locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area and a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Our food ethos – use as much local and British seasonal produce when it’s good but don’t restrict or spoil a menu by avoiding using delicious ingredients from far flung destinations. Besides, we’ve been importing produce since before the Roman invasion, and who wants to go through life without chocolate?

Paul and his traditional brigade of 9 chefs, make absolutely everything on the premises – bread, cheese biscuits, stocks, sauces, sorbet, ice-cream. We’re equally proud of Jason & his front of house team. Friendly, attentive, personality driven service. An enthusiastic team that smiles and wants to please. Lots of wonderful people I’ve worked with have gone on to open or manage their own restaurants, which I find exciting and rewarding: Myalacarte, the Lamb, Golden Ball, Luscombes, LSQ2, Wellington Arms to name a few.
